Doctor of Education (EdD) Degree Starting Summer of 2022

DTS is pleased to announce the launch of a new Doctor of Education (EdD) degree program. This program is designed to prepare Christian educators who are currently in or plan to pursue administrative leadership roles in K-12 or higher education institutions.

Imagine receiving your EdD with the DTS biblical and theological perspective not only as its foundation but also woven throughout its course of study. This kind of degree will prepare you to guide, equip and serve your fellow colleagues in your academic institution.

This new EdD degree is a 48-credit hour program which will run during the normal fall, spring, summer schedule. Classes will be held on the Dallas campus. If you live elsewhere, you may attend remotely in real time. This convenience allows you to stay in your place of ministry while pursuing your degree. Classes will be scheduled to allow you to complete your program within four years.

The admission requirements include having the MACE degree or its equivalence. A GRE or MAT score is required as well.

We are accepting applications now for our first cohort which will begin in the summer of 2022. For more information visit our website, contact the Admissions Office, or email Scott Harris at sharris@dts.edu. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
