Staying Connected
A correction to the September 2026 Connection: The newly established chair at Moody Theological Seminary named “The John M. Perkins Professor of Christian Community Development, Biblical Justice, Reconciliation, and Interpretation” is in honor of John M. Perkins, who is the founder of Mendenhall Ministries, the John and Vera Mae Perkins Foundation, and the Christian Community Development Association; he is not a graduate of DTS.
Lindsey and Joe Allen (ThM, 1988) celebrated their fiftieth anniversary at Table Rock Lake in Missouri this summer.
Joe Allen visited Stan (ThM, 1986; DMin, 2012) and Jeannie Maughan at Calvary Church in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Stan is Pastor of Care and Visitation.
Joe Allen (ThM, 1988) also went to Fort Myers, Florida, to visit David Miller (MABS, 1999), who is the Membership and Missions Pastor at McGregor Baptist Church.
