Dear Friend,
I wanted to let you know about an exciting opportunity for your church’s young adults.
What?
Dallas Theological Seminary is leading a national research project—funded by the American Bible Society—focused on how young adults connect with Scripture and what tools can help them engage God’s Word more deeply. Two of their professors, Dr. Kevin Gandy and Dr. Stacey Davis, are heading this up, and your church has the chance to be part of it. Here’s what that looks like:
Phase 1: This fall, we’re inviting young adults ages 18–35 to join a 60–90-minute focus group at your church. It’s simply a time to share your honest thoughts about how you and your friends are engaging, or maybe struggling to engage, with the Bible.
Phase 2: Then, next spring, you’ll have the option to be part of a six-week Scripture engagement experience. Afterward, you’ll complete a short survey so the research team can measure what worked and how it helped.
Why does this matter?
Your voice will shape national research and help churches across the country, including ours, find practical ways to equip young adults to engage with Scripture in meaningful, life-changing ways. We’d love for your church to join in.

In His Love,
