I can remember saying to Rosie in the early 90s, “I’ll just try one course at DTS if they let me in. It might not be what I’m looking for.” Well, they let me in, and that one course was Bible Study Methods with Prof Hendricks.

DTS not only provided me with truths that altered the way I viewed children, it also inspired my perspective to change about the family.

DTS awoke a passion in my heart for the “Dead Church.” That is the people who are walking away from the Lord but still claim to follow Him.

DTS gave me confidence in the historicity, truth, and reliability of the Scriptures and the faith handed down to us by the apostles and helped me to grasp tightly to the essentials of the faith while showing grace (toward myself and others) with regard to the non-essentials.

I’ve worked as a certified American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter for the past eleven years. Being fluent in ASL, I’m able to provide direct counseling services without a third party assistant.

The rigor and intensity of the courses I took strengthened me for the challenges of ministry.

I felt the passion they had for Christ and His ministry… They loved me from their hearts.
