The purpose of Stepping Stones Church is summarized in a single sentence based on two key scriptures. We exist to lead unchurched people to become fully devoted followers of Christ. We do this through a genuine commitment to the Great Commandment and the Great Commission.
We are a new church plant. Up to this point, all of our ministries have been led by capable lay leaders. The tremendous growth experienced during the pandemic (because we never closed our doors) is leading us to start the search for much needed leadership in our youth and our young adult ministries. If you have a heart to reach either or both of these groups to a deeper level of commitment to Christ and if you are passionate about evangelism, please call Pastor Jeff at 972-548-1300 or to discuss opportunities available. Or visit us this Sunday and experience first hand how God is working in our church.

Building bridges. Bringing hope. Here at The Friends of Israel, we have two gospel-driven focuses. The first is teaching and equipping Christians about the truth of Israel and the Jewish people as is taught in Scripture. The second is making lasting relationships with the Jewish community and individuals.
It is our hope to be a shining light for the Messiah to all people. If you want to join the growing work of our ministry, take a look at these opportunities to develop lasting relationships, below. If you feel that you are a good fit, contact me a dsimmons@foi.org.
Jobs, Internships, and Service Opportunities
CHURCH MINISTRIES
Our representatives assist the local church in its understanding of the teaching of God’s Word on Israel and the Messiah. This is done through local church speaking engagements including conferences, feast presentations, and Focus on Israel events.
FIELD MINISTRIES
Our representatives are directly involved in the Jewish community. They are busy loving the Jewish people while sharing biblical truth with them through a variety of ways and standing with them to show the love of Christians all around the world. They serve and volunteer in the Jewish community and build relationships offering friendship and hospitality, all in the Messiah’s name.
PROGRAM MINISTRIES
ENCOUNTER | This is an introductory, two to four day program, recently developed in which those who are interested in learning more about the Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry and to gain a better understanding of Jewish ministry will have an opportunity to spend a few days at our home office in the United States as well as visiting and volunteering in a Jewish community here in America. Our prayer is that the Lord may use ENCOUNTER to encourage further involvement with the Friends of Israel and promote interest in the Jewish community near the homes of those who attend ENCOUNTER.
ORIGINS | More than a tour, ORIGINS is a life changing experience in the land of Israel for young adultsbetween the ages of 18 to 28. It is a ministry trip where Christian young adults go to Israel to serve the Jewish people by volunteering for two weeks at a local Jewish hospital. Team members establish lasting friendships, experience first hand contact with Israelis, explore their biblical roots and expand their faith and support of Israel.
HESED | Means ‘lovingkindness’ in Hebrew. It is an exciting Christian adult volunteer program to Israel. Hosted by the Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry, participants work alongside Israelis for two weeks doing manual labor and giving of their time, effort and resources to help serve the people of Israel practically.
BRIDGES | Bridges is a training program of The Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry that equips Christians to build relationships between the Christian and Jewish communities by serving the Jewish people, supporting the State of Israel, and sharing the love of the Messiah.
HEADQUARTERS MINISTRIES
Our international headquarters is in Southern New Jersey, just fifteen minutes from Philadelphia. If there are no openings that match your qualifications, we still encourage you to send us your résumé. We will keep it on file for one year, and we will contact you if your qualifications meet our future needs. Visit: https://www.foi.org/get-involved/serve-with-us/.
If you have questions about any of these or would like to get involved, please let us know.
Blessings in Messiah Jesus!
