This spring around 250 students will graduate from Dallas Theological Seminary. Many will be seeking job opportunities. At our Virtual Career Fair on Thursday, April 3 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., you will have the opportunity to share information about your church, internships, or jobs with soon-to-be graduates and alumni no matter your location!
Registration will go live at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 5. Only twelve spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Our Virtual Career Fair will start via a Teams meeting. Our office will kick-off the fair and briefly introduce each of the churches and ministries. We will then transition to our Job Board, which will serve as the platform for our Virtual Career Fair. To participate churches and ministries must be registered on our job board. To register as an employer on our job board, check your status, or add a contact, call 214-887-5106 or email careerservices@dts.edu.
When churches and ministries register for our job board, they enter a short, self-description of their church or ministry. We will use those descriptions to advertise the Virtual Career Fair, giving our students and alumni a sneak peek at the churches and ministries attending the event. We also ask that churches and ministries submit video introductions (three minutes maximum) by Thursday, March 20, two weeks before the Virtual Career Fair. Students and alumni will also have access to those videos beforehand so they can familiarize themselves with the churches and ministries. Registered churches will receive further instructions regarding their self-descriptions and introductory videos.
During the Virtual Career Fair, you’ll be able to interact one-on-one with students and alumni via your very own virtual rooms. As you meet with one student or alumni, others can add themselves to your queue. This will be an excellent opportunity for potential employers and our students and alumni to make connections, potentially leading to interviews further down the road.
