Mike Gorton (ThM, 2000)

Mike is working as a Wing Chaplain, 492 Special Operations Group in the US Air Force. We were glad to have him stop by the Alumni Office!

Kevin Nicholas (MABS, 2008; MACM, 2008)

Kevin and Gertrude are looking to purchase a home in Texas and are selling their home in Florida. In a few months, they plan to return to New Ireland, Papua New Guinea and continue their work on the New Testament. They have two books left to translate and are hopeful

Steve Dykes (MACM, 2004)

Steve has retired from his pastoral roles and is enjoying his retirement in Bastrop, TX.  He is also practicing to become a ninja, so the mask, sunglasses, and hat are an integral part of his training. 

Chuck Deskins (ThM, 1983)

Chuck is enjoying his retirement after pastoring for over thirty years. Although “retired,” he serves as chaplain of a retirement community connected to his church in Greenville, TX. 

Jace (ThM, 2011) and Hannah (ThM, 2011) Cloud

Hannah and Jace stopped by the alumni office along with their three children (Chloe, Clara, and Judah) to see the DTS campus on their way to Midlothian. They will be serving as an extra in an episode of The Chosen. Jace pastors Cornerstone Evangelical Free Church in Casper, WY. 

Charlene and John Lotzgesell (ThM, 1977)

Char (who goes by Luisa with her students) and John Lotzgesell continue their work at Rio Grande Bible Institute in southern Texas. When they are not teaching, they enjoy visiting their children and grandchildren around Texas and the US. 

Dan Zulli (ThM, 1988)

Dan retired from his work as an Air Force Chaplain in 2017. He and wife, Cindy, are enjoying retirement, their three children, and their pets.
