Dear Alumni,
Swing by the Alumni Office sometime this summer! We’ll treat you to an iced coffee or tea from Hope Coffee, and then you can tour the Legacy Center. Take a break in the AC and enjoy a little DTS history! Wrap up your experience by watching Crescendo, an original, short film now playing in the Regier Theater.
Located in the old Greek Orthodox Church, the Legacy Center commemorates the past, celebrates the present, and anticipates the future of DTS.
Teaching Truth for God’s Glory: For over 100 years Dallas Theological Seminary has stood firm on the bedrock of God’s inerrant Word, teaching all sixty-six books of the Bible.
Pursuing Excellence in Equipping God’s Servants: DTS pursues excellence in teaching and living out the truth of Scripture. Our Lord, Jesus Christ, inspires us to “do all things well” as we mirror his character to the world.
Strengthening the Global Church: Dallas Seminary was, in the beginning, a small school comprising a resident faculty of three and a student body of twelve. Today we are the largest nondenominational seminary in the US.
Legacy and Longevity: We honor the legacy of God’s blessing DTS for over 100 years. We celebrate his ongoing grace, and we anticipate his continued favor as we remain steadfast in our unwavering commitment to the Lord and his Word.
Theater: What began as a single note in the heart of our founder, Dr. Lewis Sperry Chafer, has become a symphony of God’s grace. Join us for a video production, Crescendo, celebrating a century of God’s faithful blessings.
Feel free to come explore the Legacy Center anytime or book a tour. To book a tour, contact Don Regier at dregier@dts.edu or Marci Monro at mmonro@dts.edu.
Don’t forget to stop by the Alumni Office in the Mitchell Ministries Center, nestled between the Bailey Student Center and Hope Coffee and the brand new Legacy Center.
See you soon!
